From Colonel Hugh Hughes

Fishkill [New York] July 18, 1781. States that Hamilton’s letters have been forwarded “by careful Hands.”1 Also states that “there are some very inquisitive Gentry on the Route.” Requests “a line now & then, on the appearance of a Phenominon &c.”
