June 1. Dined at Burns’s and Spent the Evening in my own Room.

GW’s committee on ways and means of supplying ammunition and military stores to the colonies read its report, which was referred to the committee of the whole (JCC description begins Worthington Chauncey Ford et al., eds. Journals of the Continental Congress, 1774-1789. 34 vols. Washington, D.C., 1904–37. description ends , 2:74).
