Truckell, Curator, 1954; MS at present on loan at ViU); recipient unidentified, but possibly he was Buchanan, with whom TJ traded and who, in 1784, received a shipment of wine for him from Marbois (see record entry for TJ to Buchanan, 23 Apr. 1784).
1. Both figures in date overwritten: as first written, date was probably June 21, but mistaken for 31 and altered as above in an unidentified hand.
