To the Senate

April 29. 1816

I withdraw the nomination of George Woodruff, to be paymaster to the 1st Battalion of the corps of Artillery; and I nominate Joseph Woodruff to the same office.

Proceedings, description begins Journal of the Executive Proceedings of the Senate of the United States of America (3 vols.; Washington, 1828). description ends 3:50, 51–52).
