scriptm: “written.” An emplastrum epispasticum is a blistering plaster (Nicholas Culpeper, Culpeper’s Complete Herbal [London, 1816], 371; James Rennie, A New Supplement to the latest Pharmacopœias, 4th ed. [1837], 136). rad. polygola seneka is the root of Polygala senega, commonly Seneca snakeroot ( , 894). aggy’s child was Sally Goodman. The figure of £6–16–10 was carried over from TJ’s Account with Steptoe, 1 June 1814. On sep. 22. 15. TJ recorded payment of $35.89 to Steptoe for “Medical services after deducting smith’s acct.” ( , 2:1314).
