§ From Anthony Merry

24 June 1805, Washington. “I have the Honor to transmit to you enclosed the Passport which you have requested of me by your Letter of the 22d. Instant1 for the American Brig Washington, James Croudhill Master, loaded with naval and military Stores and Provisions for the Supply of the Squadron of the United States in the Mediterranean.”2
