§ To Albert Gallatin

14 October 1802, Department of State. Requests that a warrant for $600 be issued to Seth Pease from appropriations for Barbary affairs, he being the holder of a bill of exchange drawn on JM by John Gavino for advances made to James Simpson, with the amount to be charged against Simpson.
