Le Havre, 8 Aug. 1788. Encloses account of expenses of 103₶ 17s.9d. for two shipments forwarded to TJ, and asks that the acquit à caution be returned in due form. “It was mentionned yesterday in Sundry Letters arrived from Hambro that the Sweedish army had attacked Wyburg in Finland.”

Enclosure (MHi): Account of disbursements by Limozin for commissions, freight, duties, plumbing and cording, &c. of two shipments: the first consisting of five cases of “Meubles venuës d’Amsterdam” by the ship Le Jeune Bérnard, Captain Claus Arends, totalling 61₶ 4s. 3d., and the second being “une futaille Boeuf fumé venu d’Hambourg,” by the ship Le William Elizabeth, Captain A. Bolek, totalling 42₶ 13s. 6d. Both statements, in a clerk’s hand on a single sheet, were signed by Limozin and dated 7 Aug. 1788; endorsed by TJ: “Limosin. Accts. subsequent to paimt. of Nov. 1.1787.”
