To Captain John Ashby. of the Second Company of Rangers.

As I am informed of several Soldiers having deserted your Company.

You are hereby ordered to pursue them with all possible dispatch; and use your utmost endeavours to apprehend and secure them. Given &c. at Winchester 29th December, 1755.
