1. Cheat is a weed such as chess, bromegrass, or darnel, which resembles wheat and often grows among it.

2. This number 5 was originally placed by mistake in the “Hom[iny]” column. When it was corrected and moved to its proper place under “Sh[orts] Bran,” the totals of the two columns were not corrected.
