25 June 1797

Sent by an adopted Son of America who has had the honor [this] spring to address a letter of felicitation to his Excellency John Adams. He now Joins the Respectfull compliments of all that family who hear twenty years ago had the happyness to live in France under the same roof with his Excellency.
