1JA quotes from the resolution enclosed in the Committee’s letter to Dohrman of 11 July (JCC description begins Worthington C. Ford and others, eds., Journals of the Continental Congress, 1774– 1789, Washington, 1904–1937; 34 vols. description ends , 17:541–542; Smith, ed., Letters of Delegates description begins Paul H. Smith and others, eds., Letters of Delegates to Congress, 1774–1789, Washington, 1976–1998; 25 vols. description ends , 15:425–426). Although Francis Dana did not mention them in his letter of 10 Jan., calendared above, the two documents were probably among those he forwarded as enclosures.
