    7. Dined at Mr. Pleasants and spent the Evening in a Club at the New Tavern. Mr. Pleasants is probably Samuel Pleasants, a Philadelphia Quaker, who was married to Mary (Polly) Pemberton, a member of another prominent Quaker family.
