5. Dined at Mrs. Campbells where I had spent all my Evenings, since I came to Town.

Today GW bought 100 forms for leasing land to tenants at John Dixon and Alexander Purdie’s printing office on Duke of Gloucester Street. A few days earlier he had purchased 4 almanacs, probably at this same place (General Ledger A description begins General Ledger A, 1750–1772. Library of Congress, George Washington Papers, Series 5, Financial Papers. description ends , folio 281).
