1. This note is written at the end of the three resolutions of 15 July which were copied from the minutes of Congress and signed by its secretary Charles Thomson. These resolutions concern the appointment of a committee “to consider the propriety & means of augmenting the flying camp,” the appointment of a chief physician for the flying camp, and the garrisoning of three forts on the Pennsylvania frontier (DLC:GW; see also JCC description begins Worthington Chauncey Ford et al., eds.
