To Thomas Jefferson from Bernard Peyton, 17 March 1823

Richd 17 Mar: 1823

Dear Sir,

I have been out of blanks for a considerable time, for the renewal of your several notes at Bank—

The prospect of War in Europe has revived us a little here, & put flour up to $7—I wish it may not turn out to be a Ne-epolitan affair—

With great respect Dr Sir Yours very Truly

Bernard Peyton
