Providence, October 4, 1791. “I have recd. your Letter of the 24th of September. A Libel had been previously filed agt. the Brigt. Betsey and the Ten Kegs of Brandy; and the Owners are pursuing the Steps of the Law for relief, which I hope will be attended with no great Expence.…”
