Augt 12th 1814—

John Nicholas also presents his Complts to Mr Jefferson, & informs him that he saw his Sister, Mrs Marks, a few days ago, who requested him to desire1 Mr J— to postpone sending for her untill he heard from her; Mrs R. Jefferson being then very sick & Mrs Marks not wishing to leave her untill her entire recovery—
