From Thomas Mifflin

Philadelphia, January 18, 1791. “In compliance with your request,1 I have directed the Comptroller General to make out a statement of the Sums in final Certificates, which were paid over to this State, by the Agents for settling the Accounts of the Pennsylvania line, in the late Army.… As soon as the Comptroller has compleated the enquiry,… I will chearfully transmit the result.…”
