§ From the Senate. 18 February 1814. “Resolved, that the President of the United States be requested to cause to be laid before the senate, a list of all the commissioned officers in the navy of the United States; and also, of the midshipmen in the same, showing their respective rank; and also the dates of the commissions of the officers, and appointments of the midshipmen.”
