§ To Thomas Tingey. 5 July 1806, Department of State. “I request you will be pleased to cause the 4 brass field pieces with their Carriages & apparatus, and the Bureau & Secretary, intended for the Bey of Tunis, to be shipped to Alexandria to the care of Louis Deblois Esqr. Should he request the delivery of all or any part of the Logwood, you will please to let him have it.”
