1The enclosed copy may have been of a map of Presque Isle Bay that Sinclair enclosed in his 6 May 1814 letter to William Jones (DNA: RG 45, Captains’ Letters), showing the placement of blockhouses, storehouses, a hospital, and mooring for the fleet, and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of some of those locations.
