[Philadelphia, September 10, 1794. The description of this letter in the dealer’s catalogue reads: “He discusses Ellery’s suit against Pierce1—‘confide in the Jury’s doing their duty.’ Comments on funds to be sent to Ellery for use in building fortifications.”2 Letter not found.]
