Treasury Department, March 24, 1794. “I have directed the Treasurer of the United States to remit to you a draught on the Office of Discount & Deposit at New-York for Ninety Thousand dollars, to enable you to discharge the Interest, which will become due the 31st. Instant on the several species of stock standing on your books.”
