Baltimore Octr. 14th. 1807.

Sir,

Inclosed is a statement given to me by Capt. Brown of the Brig Fair American lately arrived from Halifax, where she had been sent for adjudication The Vessel & Cargo cleared after paying 2300 $ Costs. I believe the statement of Capt. Brown to be correct. I thought it my duty to forward it to your Office. I am &c.
