19. Dined at Roys at the Bolling green and lodged at Hanovr. Court House.

Hanover Court House, now Hanover, is 15 miles north of Richmond. In 1781 there was a “very fine and large inn here” (RICE description begins Howard C. Rice, Jr., and Anne S. K. Brown, eds.
