George Washington to Comte de Rochambeau

New Windsor [New York] February 19, 1781. Congratulates Rochambeau on arrival of Rochambeau’s son at Versailles. Asks if the Chevalier Destouches has left for Chesapeake Bay. States that Baron von Steuben reports the Virginia militia will cooperate.
