Brigadier General James Clinton

Middlebrook [New Jersey] May 28, 1779. Recommends that Clinton encourage the Onondagas to capture either Colonel Walter Butler or Joseph Brant. Hopes that Clinton is ready to cooperate with Major General John Sullivan.
