Your Remarks respecting the late Meeting of the Bible Society are interesting. The Conduct of Mr Clinton as to my Address was liberal & friendly— It is said that the next mail will bring Papers in which the Speeches you mention will be published—3 they will afford us Subjects for Conversation when we meet— Let the Time of your Return depend on Circumstances— for if your Health should derive Benefit from change of Air & Situation, it would be adviseable to prolong you stay on that Account; and also to repeat such Excursions frequently—

I am glad Mr. Isaacs4 dines with you— Marks of Attention are due to him from our Family. His Account of Col. Holly5 is more favorable than was expected here— We had heard that his Case was supposed to be desperate, and that his Recovery was not probable.
