God only knows, [illegible] whether my Removal from the Bench to my present Station will be conduce to my comfort or not—It is a question The Dye is Cast, and nothing remains but for me to consider ^but how^ to fulfill in the best manner the Duties incumbent on me, without any Regard to personal consequences— In doing this I shall often need the advice of you and others in whose Judgment & Integrity I rely confide—
