From John Jay to George Washington, 24 July 1789

To George Washington

New York 24th. July 1789

Mr. Jay has the honor of herewith transmitting to the President of the United States, a Letter to him of this date from Mr. Gardoqui, and a note for the President which was enclosed in it, together with translations of both.1
