[New York, September 18, 1789]

Mr. Hamilton will be obliged to Mr. Otis1 for certified extracts from the journals of the Senate respecting his own appointments that of the Door Keep Assistants &c & will be glad to know whether he has any & what Clks & when appointed. He wishes this information without delay.
