1. We discuss this cahier in Genet’s letter above of July 26. The date we give there (July 30) is that of the purported letter from a London banker which opens the cahier, not that of the actual publication.
2. The notation does not correspond to the date Genet wrote, which, although written over another number, clearly appears a 6.
