I received the honour of yours dated the 14th. Instant.4 containing the Pieces relative to the Padmore a Prize taken by the Black Princess; and I Send you here with the Judgment thereupon.5 I have the Honour to be, Sir, &c.

5We have not located BF’s prize judgment. Rinquin, the clerk of the Admiralty of Morlaix, had been communicating with BF for the past half year about prizes of the Black Prince and Black Princess; see, for example, XXXI, 400–1.
