The inclosed Letter addressed to You, together with the Book refered to in it, I have just received from a friend in Glasgow (who is related to Mr. Stewart,) along with a copy for myself.

Robert Dick (b. ca. 1736) was a Scottish factor in Bladensburg, Maryland, since before the American Revolution (Gaius Marcus Brumbaugh, ed., Maryland Records: Colonial, Revolutionary, County and Church from Original Sources, 2 vols.
