§ From Thomas G. Addison
7 August 1802. Resigns his post as justice of the peace, “as I shall be no longer a Resident in the District of Columbia, after to day.” Suggests that another magistrate be appointed, since he was the only magistrate on the south side of the Eastern Branch.
