On June 15, 1793, Hamilton wrote to Addison and Van Gaasbeck : “I received two or three days since your letter of the 30th. of May.” Letter not found. ] Both Addison and Van Gaasbeck were residents of Kingston. Van Gaasbeck was elected to the House of Representatives from New York in March, 1793.
