From Thomas Boylston Adams to William Cranch, 29 January 1799

Philadelphia January 29th: 1799.

Dear Sir.

I wrote you a few lines from New York, upon my arrival there, enclosing a packet of letters, addressed to Mr: Hellen, and hope they reached you safely.

I now forward as I was desired, to your care, a package for Mrs: Hellen from her Sister, which you will be So good as to deliver, and if you please acknowledge the receipt of to me. It will give me pleasure to hear from you at all times.

I set off this morning for New York on my way to the Eastward, and hope to return here in the course of the month of March.

With best remembrance to your lady & family, I am in haste / Your friend & Servt:
