Alexander Wodrow was a merchant in Falmouth who had been acting as a sutler to the Virginia troops on the frontier since 1756.

1Thomas Lemen (Lemon), a lieutenant in Capt. William Cocks’s company of rangers in 1755 and 1756, was the son of the successful tavernkeeper James Lemen of Winchester who died in 1757.
