§ From Samuel McKee1

3 March 1810, Washington. Encloses a letter from John Boyle recommending Thomas Montgomery for a judicial position in the Louisiana Territory. Forwards Boyle’s letter now in the hope that Montgomery might be appointed to a vacancy in the judiciary of the Mississippi Territory.
