Dupaty, the current vénérable (XLI, 373n); the marquis de Lezay-Marnésia, the second inspecteur, who in 1774 had translated BF’s pamphlet on oil and water (XXI, 330–in; Amiable, Une Loge Maçonnique, pp. 264, 266–7); Pastoret, the premier orateur; the chevalier de Cubières (XXX, 388; XXXIV, 470); probably the author and playwright Etienne-François de Lantier (DBF); and Le Changeux (XXXI, 372n).
7. Nombres Connus Des Vénerables Maîtres Vôtre Très Humble. BF received one more printed invitation before his departure in July. Addressing BF as “t. v. m.” (très vénérable maître), Roucher announced that the meeting of July 4 would celebrate the Nativity of St. John the Baptist and install the new officers. Afterward there would be a banquet and readings by Lezay-Marnésia, Elie de Beaumont, Pastoret, Cubières, the comte de Lacepède, and Jean-Jacques Duval d’Eprémesnil, a councillor at the Parlement de Paris (Amiable, Une Loge Magonnique, pp. 251–2, 268–70).
