5. Cabaret’s bill covering June 6 through July 26, 1782 (APS), indicates several orders for paper that were filled on June 28. This is one of them. Another was “une demie Rame grand Caré d’hollande” for 35 l.t. BF evidently found this price too high. In an undated letter, Cabaret countered the charge, asserting his integrity and begging BF to continue to patronize him. In a postscript, however, Cabaret offered to lower the price to 33 l.t. APS.
