Valley Forge, February 3, 1778. Refuses Bond’s request that Bond’s father be permitted to visit in territory held by enemy.

1. Thomas Bond was the son of Dr. Thomas Bond, a Philadelphia physician who had helped to found the Pennsylvania Hospital.
