14 January 1811, Winslow, District of Maine. As an officer who served in the American Revolution and is now “advanced in age,” solicits an appointment to command one of the forts in the District of Maine.

Docketed by a War Department clerk as received 18 Feb. Enclosed in Barzillai Gannett to Eustis, 15 Feb. 1811 (ibid.), with the observation that Pattee “has been a respectable and useful citizen.”
