This list of Acts of Assembly relating to the colonial church was obviously drawn up before 19 Nov. 1776. See the general Editorial Note at the head of this sequence of documents.
1. The ten Acts listed above were passed by the Assembly in its session begun 23 Mch. 1661/2, and will be found in ii, 44–52, where, however, the numbering of the Acts is not the same as TJ’s.
2. This Act is included in TJ’s Draft Resolutions (Document i, above) and also in those of 19 Nov. (Document i, note).
