§ From William C. C. Claiborne. 13 November 1805, New Orleans. “I have the pleasure to inclose you a copy of a Resolution, which was this day unanimously adopted by the House of Representatives of this Territory.”1

1. The enclosure (1 p.; docketed by Wagner) is the 13 Nov. 1805 resolution of the Orleans territorial house of representatives that a committee be appointed to draft an address to the president “expressive of the sentiments of respect, confidence and esteem” entertained by the members of the house.
