George Washington to the Committee of Cooperation

Springfield [New Jersey] June 20, 1780. Advises Committee that Brigadier General Samuel Holden Parsons is being sent to Connecticut for “collecting, arranging and forwarding the drafts and recruits from that state to the army.”
