Dear Sir

I now inclose you an order on Messrs Gibs. & Jeff. for 112.65 to reimburse the

45. D.  paid to mr Yancey
50. D.  cash to Jer. A. Goodman
17. 65   my ord. in favr Cooney

the assumpsit of Goodman’s store debt to you shall be paid in the same way at the time promised, and at the same time the further sum of 69.35 for leather purchased for us at the request of mr Yancey. I expect to leave this tomorrow, and now present you the assurance of my great esteem & respect

PoC (ViU: TJP); at foot of text: “Mr Archibd Robertson”; endorsed by TJ; with part of an unrelated sketch of a geometrical figure in an unidentified hand on verso, apparently separated from remainder of this drawing on verso of PoC of TJ to Patrick Gibson, 12 Dec. 1815. Enclosure not found.

On this date TJ recorded that the enclosed order on Gibson & Jefferson covered $45 paid to Joel yancey for corn and that the other sums related to orders on Robertson given to Jeremiah A. goodman, on 30 Nov., and to James cooney in partial payment for a horse, on 2 Dec.
