In addition to the $200 that Thomas Jefferson randolph paid Ballard on 20 Oct. on TJ’s behalf, between then and 28 Oct. 1815 Randolph paid Ballard the $76.83 still due to him. TJ reimbursed Randolph for his payments to Ballard on the latter date ( , 2:1315).
