Philadelphia, 24 Dec. 1790.Enclosing a duplicate commission for Edward Church, made out by order of the Secretary of State because Mr. Church left England about the time the original was dispatched from New York and did not receive it. The “Year of Independence” not added to the duplicate because not in the original.
